Who We Are

The ICAS Foundation was launched in 2012 to enable ICAS members to:

  • Support social mobility, ethnic diversity and gender diversity in students studying accountancy and finance at university
  • Help promote ICAS to a more diverse audience and thereby enhance its reputation
  • Assist ICAS Foundation students through mentoring, financial support and work experience opportunities
  • Give back to their profession through socially responsible actions which engage a more diverse range of students for the next generation of CAs.

Since 2012, the ICAS Foundation has supported young people from disadvantaged communities to study accounting and finance at undergraduate degree level. The Foundation relies on the financial support of ICAS and its members to carry out its charitable work.

The ICAS Foundation is a registered Scottish charity, number SC034836. More information is available on the OSCR website.
