The ICAS Foundation works with a growing community of accountancy firms, businesses, universities and trusts who share our belief that talent, not background, should determine who gets into this profession.

Our relationship with ICAS

The ICAS Foundation is an independent social mobility charity, aligned with ICAS.

ICAS provides significant support, including an annual financial contribution and in-kind administrative, HR and IT support, and facilitates member giving through the Annual Membership Renewal process.

Our decisions are driven entirely by the needs of our students and our mission of widening access, not by membership or institutional priorities. We are governed by our own independent Board of Trustees.

Corporate Partners

Firms investing directly in our students

These organisations go beyond sponsorship, co-funding bursaries, providing internships, and engaging directly with our students. In 2025, corporate partnerships and philanthropy supported the equivalent of 17 full-value bursary years.

Educational Partners

Educational Partners

We have match-funding agreements with four Scottish universities, where the cost of a student's bursary is shared between the Foundation and the university. In 2025, these partnerships contributed over £40,000 in bursary funding.

Trust and Foundations

Strategic funding partners

Our strategic partnerships with trusts and foundations add further value to a student's time on the Programme, offering additional funding and learning opportunities.
