ICAS Foundation New Student and Mentor Event 2023

The ICAS Foundation recently hosted a New Student and Mentor Welcome Event, to celebrate the new cohort of students for Autumn 2023 and offer the opportunity to meet others on the programme and their mentors.

We were delighted to have 18 of our 28 new students in attendance, along with mentors and some of the Foundation's Alumni Ambassadors - they enjoyed a full afternoon discovering the benefits of the ICAS Foundation programme, including meeting fellow Foundation students and connecting with others studying accounting or finance, as well as how being part of the ICAS Foundation can help them through their time at university and on into their future careers.

Additionally, our volunteer mentors led a thought-provoking forum discussion, fostering an environment for mentorship and learning.

The highlight of the afternoon was a panel with four of our Alumni Ambassadors, discussing how they benefited from the Foundation's programme and offering tips for our new students to make the most of their journey with us.

We're delighted to welcome our new students to the Foundation programme and look forward to seeing how they progress throughout their journey with us!

This event was supported by the Edrington Group, who graciously offered their stunning offices as a venue at no cost to the Foundation.
