Five runners. Two days. One very big challenge.

We’re going to need a very big cheer squad next April.

For one year only, the TCS London Marathon will take place across two days – Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April 2027 – and we’re delighted to have five brilliant runners taking on the challenge for the ICAS Foundation.

Between them, they represent so much of the Foundation community.

Eryn Paterson CA is a Foundation alumna who has gone on to become a trustee and mentor, giving back to support students following in her footsteps.

Gregor Miller CA, Corporate Finance Senior at Henderson Loggie, is also a Foundation mentor – and already has one marathon under his belt.

They’ll be joined by Margi Campbell CA, Partner at Saffery and a new Foundation supporter, and Linzi Wilson CA, Corporate Finance Partner at Dains, who will be running alongside her wife, Lisa Wilson.

That’s five people with very different connections to the Foundation, all choosing to take on 26.2 miles to raise money to support the next generation.

For Eryn, there’s a particularly lovely full-circle element to it. Having once been supported by the Foundation herself, she’s now a trustee and mentor – and next April she’ll be running to help give other young people the opportunities she had.

Every pound the team raises will help us continue supporting talented young people who face financial and social barriers to studying at university and starting their careers.

There are plenty of miles to run before April, of course. Over the coming months we’ll be following the team’s training, fundraising and preparations, and getting to know our runners a little better along the way.

For now, a huge thank you to Eryn, Gregor, Margi, Linzi and Lisa for taking this on.

We’ll be cheering you all the way to the finish line.
